A WORD ABOUT OUR GUARANTEES
We've been doing this a long time. (Phil started promoting tournaments in 1962, while he was still in high school.) From the beginning, we've offered one thing that other tournaments don't offer: unconditionally guaranteed prize money. It's as simple as this: whatever we promise to pay, we pay. We keep our promises, even if we lose money in the process. (Which has been known to happen on occasion.) You always know that if you show up to bowl a PRO tournament, the money we've promised to pay will be waiting. As we've said for years: we take the risk, not you.
FORMAT
Bowl eight (8) games across 16 lanes. Cashers to be determined by total pinfall per team.
In addition to doubles competition, we will offer computerized brackets and a variety of side pot options.
RULES
Aside from our dress code (shown elsewhere on this page), the basic rules are:
(a) At least one bowler on each team must be age 45 or older
(b) "Juniors" must be USBC members or at least 18 years of age (this is not a tournament for kids)
(c) Participants must behave professionally
(d) Participants may clean their bowling balls during competition with USBC-approved cleaner, but may not sand, scuff, polish or otherwise alter any ball's surface once competition has begun
(e) Any disputes will be governed by USBC regulations; any disputes not governed by USBC regulations will be decided by the Tournament Director.
